This conference could really be moving and inspiring to those with Sickle Cell Anemia Disease because all to often the illness over-turns our goals and accomplishments with it's "sponteneous" pain crisis episodes. We can stand to hear an innovative and empowering voice. We can stand to hear, "I'm pulling for you"!! We can stand to hear, "I exspect greatness" and we certainly can use a hug of genuine endearment.
